This guide was made using High Sierra and Mojave.
1. This is easy.
Take a moment to get a coffee and prepare to slowly read and re-read this page. Pay close attention to the following instructions, especially the Xerox Accounting steps. They are confusing but once you understand where to find them they make sense.
2. Download the printer driver.
or you can
Download from the Xerox website.
3. Install the printer driver on your system:
Double-click on the XeroxPrintDriver_4.25.0_2087.dmg file on your desktop to mount the driver package.
Note: You might be asked to enter the system password before it will install.
4. Add the printers to your system:
To add the Xerox WorkCentre 7530, use the Default method instead of using its IP. It should show up in the list of printers.
Select it and update its details:
- Name: Xerox WorkCentre 7530
- Location: Upstairs
5. Configure printers for LO Settings
In order to configure the Xerox Features you need to open a 64-bit software that’s not an Apple product. Otherwise, Library Validation will replace Xerox Features with Printer Features and won’t give you the settings you need to configure.
I recommend using FireFox web browser to do this.
You can see more information here.
Then select Advanced. Update Job Identification to disable printing a cover letter.
Finally, press Print to send a test page to the printer.
To test the other printer,
1. Change the selected printer
2. Change the preset from Default Settings to the LO-Accounting preset just created
3. Press Print to send a test page to the printer
4. Enter the accounting details
